In her solo piece Murmurs Olga de Soto starts looking silently for a dance she does not know and that is going to help her to find a new gateway to get to a written dance, that she knows, and that is accompanied by a composition for solo clarinet, extracted from the trio for violin, clarinet and piano the Silence of the Future, by Belgian composer Denis Pousseur.
The musical score explores different textures and sonorities of the instrument, in a flow in which the sound journeys from the lowest to the highest sonorities. These sounds rise from a held-in and deep breath, that could be compared to the air that a remembrance would give to the memory.
Murmurs is the first piece of the programme of short pieces Paumes.
